?
What would that look like?
Well, it’s up to scout motors, but they would probably have a luxury model, an off-road model, maybe a sportster model or a hot rod model, a heritage model, a two door model, a convertible model where the hardtop comes off.

2023 Mustang Mach-E
Currently in the ‘23 Premium extended range Mustang MachE. It’s our 5th BEV in the last 10 years. Mostly been leasing because I consider myself an enthusiast and like the evolving technology.

There is a lot to like about the MachE. Roomy inside. BlueCruise works well. For the most part I’m getting the advertised 290-310 mile range.

The biggest hangup is how small the trunk is and that the styling is, well, weird. I leased a BMW i4 for about a year because it felt like a normal car (handling was awesome, same body as the ICE version, great interior, etc). Got back into a MachE because my wife felt the i4 was too small. As our kids get older and we can be more adventurous, I need something with some size and space for their stuff. All the off-road stuff is probably lost on me (though who knows in the future) but I love the size and the styling of the Traveler.

I started with a Lincoln MKZ 2.0H and loved it. Then switched to a Cadillac ELR and loved that more because of the paddle-forced regen braking. Then decided to go full electric with a Volvo XC40 - loved it but my wife had range anxiety - so traded it for a S60 PHEV - she loves it!

If I could get access to the regen braking without the brake pedal that would be awesome - but I might be the only person that liked it - I recall many people thinking they were paddle shifters... (not sure why when it had a CVT)
