Had a couple plug-in XC60 Recharge and love them and we got our first full EV last year - Model Y Performance. There’s so many things to like about Tesla in terms of technology, but also the obvious dislikes such as build quality, stale design, lack of options (and I’m not the type to spend...
I saw the concept and put down my $100 knowing I won’t make interest off it, but can get it back. It’s 2+ years out so I’m not expecting them to stick to their price point. There’s no way it’ll start at $60K. Also, I have a Tesla Model Y Performance that does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds that weighs...
I have a Tesla and a Volvo. Don’t like having to look right for basic info (Tesla), which is why I like that the Volvo allows a map/navigation option in display above steering wheel to allow main display to be used for something else or not have to keep looking right.
I like the concept wheel and it’s nowhere near a yoke style. Better leg space for freeway cruising. Ideally, this would be the perfect design if they incorporated drive-by-wire.
I currently have a Tesla and a plug in Volvo and have the Tesla wall charger for both (adapter for Volvo). Can’t go wrong with the Tesla charger knowing the Scout will have NACS.
150 mile battery makes no sense at all because that would mean the generator is responsible for 70% of charging the battery to get 500. Defeats the purpose of an EV. What makes more sense is same 350 range battery, less storage, with generator only for those longer trips over 150 miles. Too...
Well now I’m second guessing my Harvester reservation. I assumed it’s a generator that only charges the battery and has no direct connection to the drivetrain. The Ram is an ICE vehicle with battery like a PHEV, but they’re calling it a range extender because its battery is larger than most...
Having bought and still own a Tesla, it’s good, weird, and terrible. The good is all that it’s hyped to be. No middleman, no hidden or BS fees. The weird is you need to secure your own financing and have a cashier’s check upon taking delivery. Weird having a $60 or $70K check in your wallet, or...
