2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe - lease is up in October, so hoping to have the Scout as an option for summer 2026 (the Jeep is a summer only toy).

I grew up in a family owned International Harvester dealership and my first vehicle was a 1976 Scout II Spirt of America. I currently drive a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Moab.

2004 4-cylinder 2.3 liter Ford Ranger. Duratek strait 4 cylinder. 30 mpg with 390,000 miles on her. 3rd fuel pump.. trying to get to my brand new Terra!

Just rolled over 11.000 trouble-free miles.
Wife’s Mazda 6 just turned 300.000 miles, not a dime in it but scheduled maintenance.

Our EV6.

We had a RAV EV for 4+ years while participating in the Green Power Program.

The Toyota EV Rep was Brad, one of those one in thousand great people you may come across in life.

Toyota folded the program and when we rolled into Kia for service the service writer that greeted us was,,, Brad.

Our local Kia dealer is horrible and wouldn’t do the EV6 recalls unless we paid for their sham 5000 mile service.

So we took it to Brads place of work.
Got the 5 “updates” and in addition:

Car was also detailed, charged, Free Yeti cooler bottles and insulated bag, sunglasses, cabin air filter and tire rotation. All free.

What a sweet ride!! Congrats! I like the Wildtrak. Had a Badlands previously which suffered an untimely demise. The upgraded suspension in the Wildtrak is nice as is the premium sound system and hardtop. But no swaybar disconnect. However, I’ve only need that feature once in the past 45 years and I just had a buddy sit on the corner of my Scouts hood..problem solved. Here’s my Badlands…oops

Sorry to hear man! Just traded my 23 Wildtrak for a Tesla Model 3 to save on gas and monthly payment. I’ll be ready for the scout and plan to keep both EVs. Like driving a space ship sporty car and looking forward to the off roader again, I miss it.
