But what in the hell are those metal plates on the back of the front seats?? Not a fan.

Sit in the bucket seats before you decide. Might be more than just noticeably more comfortable, and if cloth, leather or vegan leather is an available option.

Our past GM truck the leather seats were hard like saddle leather. Miserable.
Our friends trucks with the cloths seats were way more comfortable and the cab was quieter.

Understood - but cloth is not an option for me unless I get seat covers and I hate those over time...
Gotta be able to clean it easily...

Our Ford Edge was Leather and the most comfortable seats in any vehicle we ever owned.
Ford really did it right.

We'd a kept it but the transmission logic, the Supercharger boost logic and throttle position logic and engine speed logic all conflicted with each other and we had to merge into 70 MPH traffic at 30 MPH.

Retro. May have looked good at one time way back when, and some of us have nostalgia for that. A step up from the mohair seats in our parents DeSoto Firewood 6 station wagon.

I know what you mean and I thought the same. I believe the "kinda dirty" you're seeing is the perforation and how it plays while being photographed. It also doesn't look like it's pulled tight enough. Lots of wrinkles.

I have a 6 seat GMC2500 - aka front is a bench. It's a 2016 and I have never once used the bench functionality. Doesn't hurt anything (lose some storage I suppose) and if you have 6 people to haul around then it's a good thing. I take my wife's suv when that's the case. just my 2 cents.

Not a fan of that particular wood, but assume there will be some options and it's better than the stupid white (now they have grey available) on my cyber truck!

Exterior looks pretty nice!

I'm intrigued by it, the 6 seater. Rivian nailed it with the gear tunnel and Scout can do the same with the bench.

Honestly, this size truck (Tundra'esq) with the rear roll down window, should it have a quality power tonneau and or topper option, I would absolutely go bench.

As for the wood... 100% not a fan. I love the crushed carbon fiber look Landrover is doing.

Please Scout give buyers of all specs and trim levels a non-wood option!
