Scout confirms more models coming in future. What models would you want?

Great to hear confirmation from Scout We know one of the future Scout models is whatever is under cover here in this official presentation slide (from this thread) shown at the Traveler / Terra concept reveal, which has been speculated to be a 2-door convertible / removable top Scout.

What future models would you like to see them expand to?

That's terrific news. Pretty much expected after that slide was posted previously but nice knowing it acknowledge officially.

Sounds like there's multiple future models coming so what does everyone guess we may get (in addition to a 2-door removable top Scout)?

I’ll be keeping my traveler just so when everyone cancels to get the two door I’ll get my four door sooner.

Just make sure we all agree that making the first 2 unbelievably well, no issues, no recalls or glitches before releasing more models. I’d rather have a well built, well thought out Traveler, before the company starts pumping out more models. Quality over quantity please.

I was a first Lyriq order holder GM's original release was a nightmare it took so long to get 19 months from order date I ended up in a Volvo xc90 plug in recharge. My hope is this is much more smoother and transparent. So I am taking a ( Believe what my eyes see not what my ears hear. My hope is they start production in 2027 with deliveries shortly after. By then Volvo is out of warranty and the scout is in the garage have level two chargers at both homes let's go Scout !!

Eventually offering smaller models like Rivian R2 & R3 would be a good move. Those would offer the most mass market appeal at a lower price and size. But I'm glad Scout came out to market with the full sized Traveler and Terra first. Much bigger splash and also profitability for the company.

I would think they would do what Rivian did. Originally start with the more expensive R1S and R1T and then offer the more affordable R2 and R3.

I would like to see a 8-9 passenger Travelall version to dominate the big boys from Suburban family to Grand Waggoneer

If Scout has a R2 / R3 competitor already designed somewhere on a drawing board, they'd be wise to tease it or show a concept before the R2 hits the market in 2026. Bet that would put lots of R2/R3 reservation holders on notice and perhaps wait to learn more about the Scout competitor before buying the R2/R3.

Agreed. Something smaller that fits into my older garage…
