Quoted range is 350 miles for the full-EV and 500 miles for the Harvester EREV, so what are we estimating would be the towing range in terms of % reduction per 1,000 lbs let's say? Also, do we think there will be a towing range between the Traveler and Terra?
Hoping our Rivian owners who've...
Glad to hear that because I actually don't prefer using Carplay over a good factory infotainment / navigation system. I'm not alone in that either... a lot of Tesla owners would agree with me. The Tesla software is so good, lack of Carplay / Android Auto isn't a common complaint.
So I'm...
The company dropped mad $ on the concept reveal event supposedly, so don't be surprised if we actually see a Scout Superbowl commercial. Many veteran auto journalists who attended the the reveal event said it's the most lavish one they've ever attended. It's definitely nice to have VW...
Lots of people probably expect production Scouts resembling the concept models level of upgrades but with the estimated entry price of $50-50K. Not a new phenomenon and happens often in the car industry... this association is just natural consumer reaction when a company puts its best foot...
Hah I knew I was in the right place with fellow nerds geeking out on our future Scouts! Impressed by the thought that went into your cargo area estimate, thanks for sharing your data.
Stunnning looking previews thank you @Administrator !
These two are going to rotate as my desktop wallpaper and one of them hopefully in my driveway eventually. I'm going to get these heritage rally stripes either through factory (if offered) or if not then via aftermarket vinyl kit.
So what are the things you don't like about your current rides that's offered or solved by the Scout? For me the Model X gives me great on road utility but no ability at all to off-road, camp, do anything in nature. It's basically a minivan in a much cooler form 🤣
Looking forward to having a...
Fascination thread to see what everyone's driving and what type of owners are interested in the new Scouts. Here's my '22 Model X. It's the vehicle that made me realize how much more utility and space an EV offers (no engine, no transmission tunnel, etc.) over traditional ICE car.
Would love a pop-out / flip-out rear quarter window on my Traveler SUV. Useful for natural ventilation and getting some outside air into the rear of the vehicle.
Great to hear that confirmed. Would have been surprised if it wasn't since the Terra Pickup is a foot longer than the R1T and just 2" shorter than the F-150 Lightning.
I posted this in another thread:
I bet the decision whether to have Apple Carplay / Android Auto up to Scout. Meaning... even though Scout will be using Rivian's software (which currently doesn't have Carplay / AA), it sounds like the company will be able to differentiate their UI and software...
CarPlay / Android Auto:
I bet this decision is up to Scout whether they want to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Even though Scout will be using Rivian's software, it sounds like the company will be able to differentiate their UI and software from Rivian. Rivian's Chief Software Officer...
