My main issue is rack accessories are somewhat brand dependent. To me, having a good rack/bar attachment system is probably more important than the rack itself. That said, my idea of good and 99% of the markets is probably different. In a perfect world, I would have landing pads on the vehicle that are bolted to steel roll bars inside.

The guys at FrontRunner will be all over this. They had a rack out for the Rivian very soon after production started.

I too would like the roof rack points to be strong mounting points. Not just some roof rail made to check a box. I want it Sturdy for a roof top tent.
