I prefer this open front design too, as long as there's a way to attach a net or other blocker because @endlessambition has a point with how things might fall out upon opening, especially if the frunk is packed full and/or on a decline angle.
New photos of the Cabana Top on Traveler.
And that's a Scout binocular being used by the kid.
Here's a close look at the Scout Motors branded binoculars.
Another suit filed. 👎 This time by Florida VW / Audi dealerships.

The lawsuit, believed to be the first formal legal challenge on behalf of VW and Audi dealers over Scout’s plans to sell straight to consumers, also...
Yea Scout trademarked 40+ names in 2023. Some of the standout names were:
Reaper
Hauler
Tellus
Spirit
Travelstar
Some of these would be pretty cool as trim level names.
Here's Scout's strongly worded response letter to VW dealers' demand that they stop direct-to-consumer sales! 💪

I like that confidence! For Scout to go on public record with these statements is a strong signal that this will turn out in Scout's (and us customer's) favor.
Good choice Steve! Cybertruck is way too out there (sci-fi) and Lightning is way too traditional.
The Traveler and Terra is a happy medium IMO in terms of design. Also provides a good mix of buttons / tactile experience with digital/electronic experience.
Yes and I can't wait! Too bad it's beyond even 2027 :(

According to latest stats, FL still #3 for reservations, so there'll for sure be Scout Service Centers in Florida in first round of Scout Motors locations.
Anyone plan to wrap their Scout in PPF Paint Protection, XPEL, Clear Bra? I assume Scout Motors will offer a factory PPF option like many manufacturers have been doing. Pros or cons for going with factory option vs. independent aftermarket wrap shop?
Very cool way to make a public debut. To get even more national awareness for the new Scouts, they should do this same thing at a NFL game. Or run the Scout Motors ad during the Superbowl this year.
This would be genius. Why has no other manufacturer done this already? Is there possibly crash test / safety rating issues going with this type of construction?
Noticed this detail for first time today -- the Traveler concept had a woven floor mats and floor material, instead of traditional cloth material (the Terra concept had rubber all-weather floor liner mats instead).
This material looks so much easier to clean and maintain than your standard...
