HVAC heat and AC via heat pump?

I didn't see it mentioned...just assuming the heating and AC will be via heat pump?... maybe with some resistive heat back up for the really cold climates.

I think that makes a big difference for battery life and range. Tesla uses heat pumps and are more efficient in winter months. Ford was using resistive heating elements I believe when F150 Lightning users saw horrible range drops in the winter. I never looked into it though. Could be wrong.

Heat pump definitely needed. They use anywhere from 2-4x less power to run the heat in an EV.

And I'd be shocked to see a 2027 EV without one.
