I think them not releasing everything at once is gonna keep the momentum, since it make people comeback to look for more information.
My guess is periodic teasers through 2025, car shows in 2026, final specs/orders 1H 2027, production 2H 2027 for MY28.

As a consumer excited about the brand and my pre-order, if something better comes along between now when I’m locked into the Scout, I’m all for it and would likely cancel my reservation. Better is subjective in this case, meaning better to me. That is a tall order as of today.

Kudos to Scout for blazing a path that others may follow.

I think this year we will see a more production ready vehicle, with more Engineering Prototypes out on the road. And Possibly a few Events.

And then 2026 being the BIG year

As the timeline (understandably) slips well into 2027, we'll need to upsize the family fleet before then (~2026) due to adding new family driver. Hopefully I can just sit on my reservation awaiting next new family driver ~2028 for MY29.

I feel you! We are a family of 4, 2 kids in college, so everyone “needs” a car, and I have a Miata as our extra fun car. My wife is next in line for a car as her 2012 Honda Pilot is getting along in miles and years. I figure I will be just about done paying for college by the time the Scout is ready, and my primary car (2014 Tundra) will last until then, so the timing is sorta perfect for me. I won’t be ready until 2027 or 2028 to replace my current truck.

Also I figure electric charging infrastructure will only get better between now and then.

Yes.
,,,, and then some if in a few years sales slow we’ll see more range both EV and extended offered over the years.

Like Levi’s, Scouts will never go out of style.

Yep, similar here but 3 kids in line. First starts college in fall, so figure will take an old car away in summer 2026 for Soph year, so we'll need to add to family fleet. Then again ~2028 (assuming kids are asked back to college for those Soph years...).

We went to one car show that offered Lyric test drives before it was available for sale.

Wife jumped behind the wheel and a few hot girl Caddy reps jumped in with her.
Same when we bought our 3500 GMC.

Sales technique that makes girls feel like they are in their element.

Wife liked the Lyric but we were waiting for the Blazer EV SS, the Scout eclipses both.

Wife walked away with a Lyric Sweatshirt, sunglasses, a feminine cut hat all kinda goodies.

Scout will also keep the interest going.

My son works sales at a Chevrolet dealership when not in school. I’m going to get my fix by test driving the Silverado RST EV today. First time driving a car with 24” factory wheels, that’s for sure 😂

One kid graduating this year. Will be right at a second kid graduating by the time I get a scout with the last kid graduating a year after that. We have been doing road trips in a Jeep for years already - so really doubt I will ever need to upsize again.

That said, lots of trips now are already 2 vehicles. Kids are not a problem, but dogs are.
