Rear Wiper - Will the Scout have one?

Old Scouts never had a rear wiper so it might be a nostalgic thing to not put one. But also with the aero dynamics of the Scout it might not affect the rear glass as much because the way the glass is slopped it might make the water run down naturally.

We had an Ioniq5 with no rear wiper. It was the one and only thing we HATED and that vehicle. Hyundai rolled it out, bragging about aerodynamics and slope keeping the glass clear. That may have worked in factory simulation but not in real world driving. Not enough velocity with stop and go city driving and in snow and mud.
PLEASE put a rear wiper on the Scout!

That's exactly what made me think of it.

It could be a safety issue for sure especially in winter. Do clear snow off the front/rear windows but can accumulate during driving.

I refuse to use a rear wiper if equipped.. they gather dust, then you scrape it across the glass. over time it eventually etches the surface.

My rear wiper equipped Ford is ten years old. No scratches. Then again, I don't drive around diamond mines

Probably only thing I hate about my 2022 IONIQ 5 no rear window wiper so much dirt piles up on the back window. I guess new IONIQ's were supposed to get a rear wiper.

Lol and here I am about to do a wiper delete on my hatchback. Only time its used is when the car automatically does it while reversing in rain. Its UGLY AS F and i want it gone!

I say it should be optional from factory.
