Will the large spare be optional?

For us that don’t normally go deep off-road do you think we can choose not to have the rear mounted spare? In many cases, that spare will make it impossible to get access to the rear cargo area in a normal two car garage.

I posted this earlier in another thread

Scout Motors confirmed that it's considering having the spare tire carrier be optional.

But it looks like it's removable - see photo of the hinge pin on the spare tire carrier.
