Dimensions Size [Updated]: Scout TRAVELER SUV vs. R1S, Hummer, Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, 4Runner, Kia EV9, Defender

I'm disappointed to see it so big. Not a desirable size for the true off roader I was hoping for. Would be be difficult navigating on the narrow switched back trails here in Colorado.

I pointed this out in first post but something to keep in mind -- Scout reps said that the vehicles shown at the reveal at 85% reality and 15% fantasy. So it's possible that dimensions and size are still subject to change for the production 2027 Scout Traveler SUV and Terrain Pickup Truck.

BTW, Scout confirmed that the width dimension does include mirrors.

Scout has confirmed that the width with mirrors folded is 79.9" inches. Updated first post.

A Scout employee has clarified that the width is 79.9 without the mirrors. So I mismeasured by an inch or so on the tires.

Still wide, but so, so much better. I might put in my reservation.

You have listed the Bronco widths WITH mirrors, without mirrors the standard full sized Bronco is 75.9”, The Bronco Raptor is 85.7” without mirrors. Might want to update the first post to keep the comparisons valid.

Just to muddy (or clarify?) the dimension waters even further, according to a Scout Motors employee on the official forum, the length spec for the Scout includes the rear mounted spare, as does the length spec Ford lists for the Bronco.

These numbers are not accurate for the Bronco in comparison to the Scout, the Bronco width is mirror to mirror, 86", on mine in my driveway, which compares to the Scout 91"; the width on mine, 33" tires, seems to be 76" wide, compared to 79.9 above; the Raptor Bronco is much wider in track width and fender width than the regular Bronco. The width shaping of the vehicles seems to differ (widest point). I don't think we're yet comparing the vehicles in the same way, yet.

I'm confused by these dimensions. Based on the numbers, the Traveler is the same size as my 2024 Toyota Sequoia, but that can't be right. I have parked next to a few Rivian R1's and they are much narrower than the 79.8" listed on the Toyota website.

Thanks! It's wierd with the BRaptor, because that has the exact same body, but gets its larger huge width from a wider wheel track and much wider fenders.

How does taking the mirrors off change the width by over 10”. I am looking right at the images and the mirrors barely extend, if they even do, past the fenders and tires. Now, I wasnt at the reveal or anything, but that drawing combined with the lotsa tires mod pic that was posted paint the picture pretty clearly.

Folding the mirrors in gives you 5 inches per side.
