IF we could get a Terra that could hold a nice light duty snow plow (since it is body on frame) IF we could use the truck for work as well as off road. IF we had the opportunity for things like strobe lights, back up lights, ditch lights. stuff of that nature that would be great. I could then replace 3 of my fleet with an economical EV instead of the gas burners. IF ONLY. that is my wish for today. Something to think about.

There's a chance it will support a snow plow with body on frame!!! And lights are pretty much a guarantee either OEM or aftermarket, assume standard 12v and some option for outfitter switches (or aftermarket)....believe you'll be supported in your wish list!

snow plow? Scout is not going to make that accessory. maybe aftermarket from a 3rd party but there's no business benefit for them to make something less than 1% of owners would buy.

Dont think he meant OEM Snow Plow, just that one would be doable from the aftermarket given it's body on frame.

I disagree… A large percentage of pick ups Along the northern part of the country have plows on them. We're not saying they need to have a plow we're just saying they need to have the software built and that allows us to put a plow on And the vehicle doesn't lose its mind with the front sensors

1) I'd like a rear subwoofer.
2) No subscriptions, or at the very least, subscriptions are only for optional nonsense: ie: Satellite Radio
3) All speakers to be of normal size that are sold commonly by aftermarket so we can change and upgrade as desired.
4)I'd hope that this vehicle isn't too techy. It's so strange to run an 'update' on a car.

AM Radio - Can't believe that I need to actually say this, but it's currently under attack.

Manual headlights - It's fine to have an auto option, but allow us to turn them completely off for certain situations such as driving through a Christmas light display while being courteous to others around us.

manual headlights are a great idea, but there maybe some new safety regulation that prevents it, it would be cool to go into stealth mode quietly and without noise

as far as am radio, the electric motors generate electromagnetic frequencies that are the same as the am radio, therefore you can receive them, most of the radios on new cars are digital signal too.

There actually is not a federal mandate for automobiles in the USA to have automatic headlights, otherwise they would be impossible since each state has it's own regulations regarding when the headlights must be on by law.

As for the AM radio, yes, the electric motors do create frequency noise, but this can be blocked easily. Auto manufacturers had this issue solved somewhere in the 1940's or 50's when some cars still came with a generator instead of an alternator, as well as some ignition items that caused interference.
