This is something we can only theorize about at this point however it seems unlikely to me that it would wait until the battery was depleted to start charging as I doubt the "engine" will provide enough power on its own. My guess is that once a "low" battery level is reached, the generator...

Comfort will be the deciding factor for me but I like the idea of a bench seat in concept. If they really want a home run, make the bench seats fold flat with the back seat. Seems like a great place to take a quick nap while charging :)

EV only works for me. Its still more range than my standard range Lightning which has been plenty (most of the time). The faster charging will resolve any potential range issues for me. Of course I could change my mind when the full specs are out... A built in backup generator doesn't seem...

Well... I wasn't going to get on another waiting list... but I just reserved a Traveler SUV without the gas generator. I like the exterior size but need to see if I fit inside as well as I do in my 2023 Lightning.

Driver side rear should be a good location when backing into a Tesla station; Tesla ports are in the same spot.
