In my humble opinion and in simplest terms, I think that consumers should continue to receive the clean vehicle tax credit.

With that said, is there a formal organization for like minded forum members on this ev forum and other ev forums to lobby for the ev tax credits?

There is speculation in previous forum posts about the possiblilty that the incoming administration may exert pressure to end the tax credit.
***No politics solicited or implied***

Businesses receive incentives and credits.

As a consumer, I would like to get mine too! LOL!

A quick Google search turns up a list of lobbying groups. It would be up to you to look into the activities of each group and decide which one you want to support.

Another good action is to call your congressional representatives and voice your position on issues.

I’d rather see the federal government use all those $7500s toward charging infrastructure improvements and battery technology research.

A one-time tax credit isn’t going to convince Joe Sixpack that EVs are a viable alternative to ICE. In fact, the only thing that SHOULD convince Joe Sixpack is Joe Sixpack. That happens by improving charging infra & batteries to the point where EV’s are actually superior (or at least, on par) with ICE from a range & convenience of operation perspective.

Government consumer incentives and “mandates” aren’t the way.
