Stereo / Audio System Brand - Poll

Any car stereo audiophiles here? With the interiors being pretty spacious in the Scouts I think the sound stage could be pretty decent (for a vehicle environment at least).

What would be your preferred stereo system brand? (I don't think Scout has announced this yet).

I voted for Bang & Olufsen (B&O). But I wouldn't mind a kick ass in-house Scout Motors stereo system either. From an engineering standpoint, it'd be even more impressive if the company itself can deliver something impressive on the stereo / audio front.

I have experience with B&W, Meridien, Bose, and others. All have produced some good systems in some instances and poor in others. I am just hoping for overall good sound. Not concerned about manufacturer so I voted Scout.

I voted for Scout in house. Hope they can partner with an American company not use their global network for the speakers but do an in house option so the Scout can be more American built and hold to that even to the speakers. Many are assembled in the USA or so forth but if they can have it be an American company at the least, that is what I prefer.
Scout may be purchased by VW but the name is American and its roots are here in America. Just like them being built here in America. Let’s keep that going down to the speakers being American.

I'd like a McIntosh system but no matter what system they put in these, I hope it's premium.
Even with systems by those listed, most times when they are in a mass-produced vehicle, they are of a lower quality. Good enough to pass the test but not "mindblowing." Almost like buying a John Deere at Home Depot. It's got the name, but you can clearly tell the difference between a "Home Depot Deere" and one that you buy from the John Deere dealership that costs twice as much.

I voted Bose but B&O, Harmon Kardon, or JBL would all work great. Realistically they would likely keep to an American brand however. I’m against in house brand because I want them focusing their efforts on more important aspects of the vehicles. Just have the sound system as an internal buyout and move on.

Don't care so much about the manufacturer as (as someone as already stated), I've had good and bad ones from the same manufacturer. Just want a stereo commensurate with the cost increase over the stock set up.

Don't care as long as it's a good system with full range sound quality.
