Like Eskimo?
I think so..

Whats not Politically incorrect these days. Same reason why Scout probably cant call the harvesters engine “comanche” even though that was the International Scouts most famous engine for it’s engineering. I really hope they call it the Comanche though that name is iconic.

My only worry about too many trims options is it gives them the ability to raise the price of the vehicle. Please keep it affordable.
The more trim options will certainly drive up supply chain costs. Hopefully they do not go nuts on interior options and stick to the basics.

Trim levels are almost a necessity for dealerships. A dealership can not stock every option, so they make a handful of trim models with specific options attached to each trim. I guess trim levels also can simplify resale. They can keep options grouped in ways that are most appreciated by groups of targeted customers.

Of course sadly, it they are also used as a way to increase profits. Locking out options without buying into a full trim package.

Anyway, with a direct to customer model - Scout has a LOT of options. They can offer trim models to aid buyers, while giving individuals more flexibility in designing our dream vehicles.

Of course I have to wonder what the Founder's Edition trim will be like... Especially since it will probably be out before the Heritage Edition is.

I can't wait till there's a catalog with all these visions for us to choose from my hope is we're reading it on the beach this summer and venturing somewhere to see feel and touch this beautiful lady we are all conjuring up in our minds. So maybe Scout could tease us a little and let us know when that timeline is when do they see actual trim and model offerings to reservation holders ??

Speaking of direct to customer sales it's been working out OK with our TESLA products.
Flirts with Orwellian at times but with time and patience works out OK.

With our TESLA Solar/Powerwall we paid for a heavily discounted 100 AMP system and Tesla was so confused and unorganized and dizzy we ended up with a 150 AMP system.
It worked out HUGE in our favor.

Our two Starlinks are stunningly simple DIY and amazing. Mind blowing fantastic.

Scout has mentioned they want their vehicles to be a large % owner maint friendly. I look forward to that.

I think three is the magic number. Good, better, best. I suspect Harvester will be reserved for the best option.
I disagree. I think they will take a page from the Bronco playbook and make Harvester available at all trims just like Ford did with the Sasquatch package. The Harvester option will definitely be the single most requested option.

Agreed. I’m actually more worried about the bench seat being gated behind some specific option set. Or precluding from something like heated seats.

Makes sense and hoping they do as you suggest.
