It’s a great thing to see that they are willing to bring in multiple trims, unlike its competitors Rivian that only offers more motors and different battery options.
We are looking at a number of trim options. Too early to say, but something similar has been discussed.
Answer was in response to this question about a stripped down version:
“Jamie do you know if there’s consideration for a base/no-frills trim that still allows the off-road package? No power lift gate or fancy interior lightscapes, massaging seats, extra-premium interior materials, etc.
Wipe down vinyl or stain-resistant cloth, vinyl or heavy duty carpet floors, option for the off road package and a couple tech pieces like adaptive cruise/heated front seats.
I’m hoping for an option to emulate my current Bronco with not many frills, and I’ve been spoiled by the vinyl seats and washout floors. Adaptive cruise makes such a difference on road trips I’d like to have it, but not if it includes a bunch of weight/complexity adding luxury features.” -HedRock
