We are looking at a number of trim options. Too early to say, but something similar has been discussed.

Answer was in response to this question about a stripped down version:

“Jamie do you know if there’s consideration for a base/no-frills trim that still allows the off-road package? No power lift gate or fancy interior lightscapes, massaging seats, extra-premium interior materials, etc.
Wipe down vinyl or stain-resistant cloth, vinyl or heavy duty carpet floors, option for the off road package and a couple tech pieces like adaptive cruise/heated front seats.
I’m hoping for an option to emulate my current Bronco with not many frills, and I’ve been spoiled by the vinyl seats and washout floors. Adaptive cruise makes such a difference on road trips I’d like to have it, but not if it includes a bunch of weight/complexity adding luxury features.” -HedRock

It’s a great thing to see that they are willing to bring in multiple trims, unlike its competitors Rivian that only offers more motors and different battery options.

Great decision make it happen Scout!.

Trim Levels not only make it easier for customers in the buying process (simplifies options into easier to understand/pick packages), but I think it also promotes stronger brand/vehicle identity too. Look at the Bronco and Jeep owners, they love to be identified by their trims / models (Rubicon, Mojave, Sasquatch, etc.)

Anybody have any cool ideas for Trim names for the Traveler and Terra?

They Have a bunch of trademarked names, like “Reaper” and a few others I can’t remember the others.

Yea Scout trademarked 40+ names in 2023. Some of the standout names were:

Reaper
Hauler
Tellus
Spirit

Travelstar

Some of these would be pretty cool as trim level names.

Oh hey it’s me!

I think someone else pointed out it probably won’t be a launch thing, but I’m not paying 90k, and don’t really care for the luxury electronics. I just want an EREV that will do well on cross country (coast to Rockies or coast to coast) and can go fairly far offroad without a charger. Plus bench seats.

In a perfect world I could option a Traveler with bench seat, HUD, steel roof, Offroad package, washout interior (or wipe down, the floor drains are less important for me), heated front seats, and adaptive cruise with lane centering. Don’t care much about surround cameras (they’re cool as hell though). As long as audio is better than the terrible Bronco base audio, that’s probably good enough for me. Think work truck trim with a couple goodies for 2000 mile road trips.

Although…proximity unlock is nice.

EDIT: it’d be great if the wheel wells can clear 37s without major fender work. Doubt that’ll happen but a man can dream.

Trim levels would definitely help out. If someone wants a cheaper version they can choose it via a trim.

Yes it is you. I’ll quote you into the post.

I believe it was JAlynn who said it most likely won’t be a launch option at start.

My guess is each Vehicle will have 5 trim levels. And you will be able to make a custom trim by adding things on.
