Great to know Scout supports consumer right to repair with how they'll be building the Scout EVs so that they're easily fixable by us regular owners.

Scout Wants to Build EVs You Can Fix Yourself
Scout believes easily damaged and frequently serviced parts should be screwed, not glued.

Thats how it should be i should have to take my car in to replace a mirror or fender or door for that matter. It should be simple bolts and screws not custom made drivers or special glue. Simplicity is the way of the future.

"Another item on the company’s punch list: “transparent” repair guides and manuals that are accessible to the end customer."

Yessss!! Finally no need to shell out hundreds for a service manual.

As much as people say get a 4 runner as a first car in highschool, i think the Scout might become the new 4 runner, its cheaper to maintain and its self repair. I hope they make the harvester easy to do an oil change on that would be tremendous.

Ineos said that also. Parts scarce / unavailable and the repair docs never became available.
