Have you cancelled reservation(s) or plans for other EVs since reserving a Scout?

No, I have an R2 reservation though and am probably more likely to get that than the Scout.

What makes you think you’ll go with the Rivian.

I'm somewhat partial to the smaller size and efficiency of the Rivian, I had a 2021 Bronco for two years and learned that I don't need that much off-road ability. The Scout might be overkill in that area and the extra size/expense might not be what I need. But it looks really cool, and life is short, so I'm like 50/50 at this point.

Yeh, that R2 looks nice. Just wish they’d improve the front end. Just don’t like it.

I Had been holding onto my Triangle Truck reservation.. I put my reservation down for the scout and reimbursed myself by canceling the Tesla Reservation.

I hope that Scout doesn't end up the same way (As the cyber truck), What was an interesting, affordable, Function over form utilitarian vehicle became an overpriced Niche "Truck" which isn't even on my Radar anymore.

I will be cancelling both my reservations, as I will be getting something else in two years and it won't be a Scout. Keeping my R2 reservation though for the time being. I am expecting the pricing on the Scout to be much higher than anticipated.

I’ve got an R2 reservation but I haven’t cancelled it,,,,, yet. In all likelihood I will cancel it in favor of the Scout. My wife is hoping to get an R3X when it comes out.

How does a $7,500 tax credit have any impact on the affordability of a vehicle? The credit only reduces you income tax bill or, if you don't owe, increase your refund.

I canceled my Fisker PEAR reservation as they will never make one as the company hit a brick wall.
My reservation is currently with the R2 but my go with a MINI Countryman 2025 model.

It's a tax credit. If you owe enough in taxes, it's $7500 you don't have to pay in that you can use elsewhere. It's not refundable, it can only be used to offset what you owe.

This is why there are so many leases on electric vehicles. The leasing company owes enough in taxes that they can claim the full credit for each car. Most of them pass the full amount on to the customer. This allows many to take advantage of the credit that otherwise would not be available to them. It also artificially inflates sales numbers for a car that many would likely not get.

In Colorado we don't need any tax liability to take advantage of the tax credits on a lease. If the credit is taken at the point of sale, there is no need to repay it if you don't in fact have that much tax liability at the end of the year. It is a great way for lower income folks to take advantage of the leases on EV's.

I still have a CT reservation. At this point, I'll just hold it and see what else comes down the pike. Otherwise, I'll likely just end up getting a Model Y at some point.

I'm going to keep the Scout reservation until I see the final production price and options.

I currently have a Cybertruck Reseveration and a R2 reseveration along with a Terra Reservation. I mainly want to see what the full specs are on the R2 and Scout before I drop my reservation of any of them. I'm also hoping Tesla will drop the price closer to what they initially offered before they force me to actually finalize the order.

I have a Ramcharger reservation that I haven't cancelled. I may just let it ride to see what happens over there. It sounds like cancelling is harder than it's worth, yet. I have reservations for both Scouts. My wife will be around the end of her lease when these are available. And it'll depend on which truck will better suit my needs to replace my '15 Duramax.

I was looking forward to getting an VW ID BUZZ, my dad had an old school VW bus when I was growing up. But when the prices came out on the 3 trim levels and the low end PRO S starting at $60K and that's before dealer markups and of course no tax credits since the BUZZ is made in Germany had to jump off that train.

They say 230 mile range on a full charge that means it will be below 200 miles on a charge for the BUZZ.

Right around Halloween is when I saw the press release for SCOUT and loved the look of the TERRA put a deposit down the next day after research. For surely looking forward to 2027 and getting my TERRA.
