The SUV's shape is definitely nowhere as boxy / upright as the old Scouts. What will be interesting to see is if the rest of the body styling is a mix of classic & modern or straight modern.

Ha! Love the speculation, so I'll jump in with mine. Obviously, I can't really know from those photos, but the approach and departure angles don't seem very aggressive? I'm hoping it's just the angle of the photos.

It doesn't look much like the Scout I know, but maybe I am wrong. If it is going to be a hit it needs to channel the original the way the Bronco does IMO.

The SUV silhouette makes me think of early 2000s Range Rovers. Hope like everyone else that the angle of the picture and lack of detail is playing tricks on the eyes. I like Range Rovers looks but I’m hoping for more classic Scout styling. Plus open air options. Now I’m worrying myself that the German-British unreliability doesn’t translate to a German-American reliability issue.
