So we know that Scout EV will be sold via direct sale to customer and not going through VW dealerships. Instead there'll be Scout Motors showrooms where you can see/sit in the vehicles, test drive and order vehicle in person if you want.
So presumably, we won't be able to have our Scouts repaired / serviced at VW dealerships and will have to visit Scout service centers instead.
Which begs the questions -- will all the Scout showrooms also be service centers? How fast and how many showroom/service centers will Scout be building throughout the country?
This is one of the issues that Rivian has had to deal with -- not enough service centers to deal with the amount of volume, leading to long waits for repairs.
