Will the Scout Terra or Traveler get onboard air compressor? Would be super helpful for airing down / up. If I missed this already being confirmed as a feature, do we know what CFM the air compressor will have?

Wasn’t one shown in the frunk?

Thanks everyone, dunno how I missed this at reveal. Found onboard air compressor photos in the the Traveler and Terra frunk in case anyone else wanted to see what it looks like.

This thread does bring up a good question tho -- what CFM are we expecting or would want from the air compressor?

I would like to see it be capable of at least 250psi. idk exactly what CFM that would be. What i do know is it would be able to power a Impact Wrench. With no problem.

I do not have high expectations for a very high performing OEM compressor. My guess is it’ll likely do the job but if it’s an optional add-on, I’d probably skip it and go with an ARB or similar that I know for sure will be able to air up four 35” tires within a reasonable amount of time.

Could be nice, but Bronco didn't have that option, and it didn't take long for several companies to come up with a way to mount an ARB single or twin (I installed the single for my 33" tires).
1. For those wanting to power air tools, it's not just the size of the compressor . . . An air tank is required to handle the bursts of air needed, according to ARB. Not room for that in a Bronco. Would probably fit in the frunk (ARB 1 gallon, eg.)
2. If you have the pickup and plan 35" tires, and an air pump to match, the Scout people said that 33" tires would store under the bed. But 35" tires wouldn't fit underneath, would require optional mounting in the bed of pickup (Traveler) Hmmm. Apparently, however 35" tires will store easily on the rear gate of the SUV.
3. This seems to prejudice the Pickup towards 33" truck trailer tires, typically 275/70R18 on a towing pickup. Made for heavy loads, but less section height for airing down . . .

Would be nice to have CFM air flow output equal to that of an ARB twin motor compressor: 6.16CFM

But that's probably asking for a lot in terms of a factory equipped onboard air compressor, so I'd settle for anything between the out put of a ARB single motor (3.08 CFM) and 6.16 CFM.

Forgot to post this earlier. Here's the best close up look at the onboard air compressor.
