Has anybody mentioned if the Scout will have bead lock wheels or beadlock capable wheels as an option. And just cause the scout will have a potential onboard air compressor has anybody brought up the idea of a central tire inflation system. Both these options would work great together.

Beadlock wheels are not DOT approved, so I would highly doubt that they would be an option.
There are some wheels that have better bead retention (ICON InnerLock, and Method Bead Grip, etc.) so that is a possibility, but those technologies are patented so they would need to work with the patent holder to use them.
Aftermarket support will probably be the best bet here.

I have bead locks on all our OHV’s.
For us they help for low tire pressure situations, easier to change out a tire off/on a rim, and in rollovers the beads stay locked.

As Scout develops its new vehicles, I believe incorporating beadlock-capable wheels as an option, similar to Ford's successful approach with the Bronco, would significantly enhance the brand's appeal, particularly among the growing off-road enthusiast market.
  • Ford Performance Parts: Ford offers beadlock wheel kits for the Bronco through their Ford Performance Parts catalog. These kits include everything you need to upgrade your Bronco for off-road bead-locking capability. You can find these kits at your local Ford dealer or online through the Ford Performance Parts website.
Ford's decision to offer beadlock-capable wheels on the Bronco has proven to be a smart move, generating considerable excitement and differentiating their product in a competitive segment. This feature resonates strongly with customers who prioritize off-road performance and customization.

With Ford offering the beadlock ready wheels, it definitely opens up the possibility for Scout to do something similar.

However, I would rather see them incorporate one of the DOT approved bead retention products that I mentioned before so that the tires can be aired down to a more usable pressure while off-road and still be street legal after the time on the trails. From what I have read the Ford beadlock ready wheels are very heavy and the rings are expensive, so it makes sense to me to buy a dedicated off road wheel/tire if you need the capability.
