VW must really be screwed. How many legacy manufacturers will be left when the Scout if/actually launches?
VW software has been a weakness for a long time. The ID.4 gets most of the attention for the shortcomings, but their infotainment systems in their other cars aren’t much better and have the same problems (10x VW owner speaking). Still love the way they drive and fully anticipate the Rivian project will yield great results.

I really don’t think VW is screwed. It’s more that they are reforming the brand. Which every car brand does BMW for example did it back in the early 1960’s and Ford did it in the 60’s too. VW seems to be doing it now because of new technologies that are becoming increasingly popular, and they are reworking their software. And if VW goes bankrupt im sure investors and the german gov, would back them with investments.

My wife has been daily driving an ID.4 for 18 months and 120,000 miles with no complaints lol, 120 miles a day.

People seem to want every EV to be a wheeled Iphone and I guess we're in a minority about that.

All I need from the software is for it to work, idc about moving buttons on screens and crap.
