I find it interesting they have a button for the Traveler rear lift gate. Not sure what the point/use would be with the swing out tire carrier that has to be opened manually first. The Terra would make sense for the tailgate jut not sure about the Traveler unless they somehow make the tire carrier automatically swing out.

It's probable not every Traveler will have an external tire carrier. We don't know if it's an option or part of a package yet. The base model may have the spare mounted inside or underneath, although the Harvester option would likely make packaging a tire underneath difficult. Time will tell.

Apple Car Key, just going to leave this here.

By 2027 I assume both Apple and Android will have robust car key technologies. They should just use that and have a fob as a backup.

The fob for my wife's Prius isn't to big, and has a 10' range, so just the act of grabbing the door handle unlocks the door, and just a button push starts the car, hers never leaves her purse. I tell you what is huge, the fob for my Ford Ranger, like lugging a brick around in my pocket,

something built into my phone would be pretty nice to have. An app that is always ready so I can just walk up to my car and start it without having to do anything else

Like a digital key? That would be cool.

Thankfully they went with something smaller. Looks pretty good. Hopefully they can do a bit better with the keyfob and PAAK reliability than what Rivian launched with.

I like the key fob that Rivian created that was a bracelet. That would be nice, especially for those who like to run.
