I'd like to see Scout Motors incorporate a factory integrated trailer brake controller for both the Terra and Traveler -- offered up as an option for us owners who'll be towing. Anyone with me, or would you prefer going with aftermarket option (any advantage over factory ones)?

Like to see a trailer package that integrates an electric brake controller. My Expedition has it factory integrated and it is such a cleaner setup.

I consider an integrated trailer brake control a must have. I really expect it to have all the modern towing towing tools, including mirrors suitable for towing, trailer camera feeds and trailer tire pressures. I could care less about the rotary knob trailer backing feature available on the domestic trucks.

I hadn’t even considered it wouldn’t have one integrated. I have never understood the desire for an aftermarket solution over integrating one from the factory.

Some factory IBC (integrated brake controller) are time-based controllers vs. certain aftermarket ones (like Prodigy) that are inertia-based. If this was the case, then an aftermarket one could be a better choice.

A bunch
I want a factory one, and I want it where I can easily access it.
