interior looks great overall and then the steering wheel seems a bit odd and out of place. i think a round wheel or a round wheel with flat bottom would be preferred by most folks.

I like the concept wheel and it’s nowhere near a yoke style. Better leg space for freeway cruising. Ideally, this would be the perfect design if they incorporated drive-by-wire.

I will go the other direction. Why have a steering "wheel" at all? Why not a joystick or other option so that room gets opened? NHTSA may have a problem with that. Certainly a lot of retraining required, but what the heck, I'll throw it out there.

I know it’s a cool design move to have a “signature” EV element, but please Scout Motors, let’s be true to the legacy and make the steering wheel round. It works better, looks better, and probably will save you money. It’s literally the only fault I could find with what has been presented so far. Anyone else with me?
Anything is better than the BMW iX steering wheel. Did a few new tires and rotation on Saturday, that steering wheel is so square and oddly shaped that the scout wheel looks normal.

Because one of the high selling points for these vehicles is that they don't lean too heavily into the tech, or oddities that many EV's currently lean into.

not a huge fan of what they showed in the reveal. overall design too retro looking. don't like the start button on the wheel or the two spoke look either. not a deal breaker just aesthetically not good looking imo.
