Has anyone heard or read if it will be able to be used as a home backup power supply through the charging port like the Ford F150 EV? In the video premiere it stated bi-directional charging, but I don't know if that means supplying power through the port to the home.

Yes, they explicitly said it was a feature. It has a 240 volt output, which is the voltage of most manual generator hookup plugs, wired into the panel, for temporarily running the home on a generator. It's a feature of the Ford Lighting as well. How long the house will run that way, or whether the Harvester generator will recharge it, or how many appliances you can run . . . That's the question! My portable 9000 watt generator plugs into my home that way.

Just for reference my Cyber Truck has 40amp (9.6kw) 240v outlet in the bed that could be used to backup the house with manual intervention but more power is available via the NACS Port (Bi Directional) - 11.5kw and automatic switchover as long as the truck is plugged in.

Would imagine Scout would have a similar setup / flexibility!

I used approx 100 kWh per day this past summer....but that includes charging the CT..so say on average about 60-80kwh per day. Truck is 123kw, save a 20% buffer, assume charged to 80% = 73kwh available...not charging, wouldnt be doing laundry, etc - so approx 1-2 days depending upon how much we ration power.

My 2 cents, we've only had 3 power outages in 9 years so may be a while for an actual test.
