Instrument Cluster Gauge Display -- Opinions, Requests, Wish List

We've only gotten these few quick looks at the Scout instrument cluster display on the Scout concepts, so can't tell much functionality yet. What does everyone want to see as functions, modes, layout on the instrument cluster?

My Gladiator's is pretty basic compared to the latest and greatest, but I've seen some nice ones for example on the Lucid in their showroom. We have lots of Rivian owners here -- wow's the Rivian's instrument cluster?

I wish they would put in the new porsche electric macan Augmented heads up display and remove the normal display.

I have a Tesla and a Volvo. Don’t like having to look right for basic info (Tesla), which is why I like that the Volvo allows a map/navigation option in display above steering wheel to allow main display to be used for something else or not have to keep looking right.

I agree - I would love to see the homage to the horizontal speedo!

I love new technology but I also love the classic vintage look. It would be cool to have the option to switch back and forth between the two different styles. My 21 bronco is cool but I long for the classic Speedo look. Please and thank you.

I think Scout will be using Rivian Hardware/Software and the Instrument cluster will more closely resemble that. Even with the hybrid "Traveler" drive it will need to be a computer on wheels as are all BEV's.

As long as they don't do what Tesla does I'll be happy. A minimalistic HUD would be a nice touch though.

Just don’t copy the ‘21 - ‘24 Bronco. Ugly, redundant and clunky. I have a ‘22 and in my opinion it’s the biggest, and maybe only, miss by the design team.

There really should be multiple options and not a fixed or dedicated display to allow the user to select what they want.
