Did not expect to see a reference to Meraki hammocks in the Scout forum. I have one for my Bronco and it works great. A great way to sleep without the fuss of setting up a tent.

@Scout - please, for the love of everything that is good and holy, do not go down that path of putridity that Ford took us down and give us eight colors, seven of which are variations of grey. We want COLOR.
Here’s the only thing everyone can be sure of - when the Scout comes out it will cost more and have less features than the revealed model.

That is going to be base price with none of the goodies they are showing. And if they follow Ford’s model that Base price will be for a limited number of vehicles and then it will disappear. If Scout is losing money on that promised base price they will not keep it around long - only a lucky...
Someone with actual software management expertise is going to have to comment on this. While I agree with your sentiment the fact that no car manufacturer to my knowledge allows this suggests that it is more complex or prone to malfunctioning than it appears on the surface.
Just don’t copy the ‘21 - ‘24 Bronco. Ugly, redundant and clunky. I have a ‘22 and in my opinion it’s the biggest, and maybe only, miss by the design team.
I was a part of both the Bronco and Lighting rollouts. The fact that Scout had cut out the dealerships from the equation is progress. I have hope it will be much better.
When the new Bronco came out people commented on its width compared to the Jeeps. I know that especially back East people have issue on some trails with the Bronco’s width. I think the size of the Traveler will limit it to some extent.
