Too bad someone at the review did't have a tape measure in their pocket :) That would be a bit wide for my garage with the wife's car in there. And don't even suggest she leave it outside, that's a non-starter!

Scout has said that the Pickup and SUV shown at the reveal are 85% reality and 15% fantasy. So it's possible the size and dimensions are in the 15% fantasy portion and still subject to change?

Boy oh boy, after seeing the look of the Terra, the CT looks even more ridiculous.
Yea, it already looks stale and when you consider Tesla doesn't update their products near as often as other automakers we can expect it to look like this for 10 years.

Possible. The Cybertruck was also way bigger at its reveal than the final version.

I posted this in the dimensions comparison thread but it also applies here...

Everyone seems freaked out by the 91.6" inch width figure released by Scout, but it may just be an error.

If we're to assume that the dimensions image released by Scout yesterday is accurate and to scale, then the width must be wrong.

Someone else measured the height and width of the vehicle drawing precisely with calipers and found the width is 1.127 times the height. If the height measurement is correct at 76.3 the width is actually about 86.0 in (with mirrors because they do not project).

Its track width seems to be about 87.5 inches.

Given the complete lack of reliable information about the dimensions other than what seemed like an aspirational diagram, I decided to estimate it by using an object of known size and extrapolating from that to the track width (body width is a bit more). The tires on the show vehicle are BFGoodrich 35x12.5R20, which are 12.5" wide.

The outside tire to outside tire width is almost exactly 7 tires. If this estimate is correct, it means the track width is 87.5 inches. I think that's it's easily believable that the body width is 4.1 inches greater (2.05 inches on each side), given the fender flare.

I believe the width spec in the diagram on the Scout website is correct for the show vehicle. Whether that will also be true for the production vehicles remains to be seen.

An error or just a placeholder since the team knows they have literally years to update the website with real values. No way they’re coming out with a 10k LB Hummer EV equivalent.

See this just posted/confirmed:

Width without mirrors (folded) = 79.9" Inches on Scout EV

So the Scout EV width is 4.4 inches narrower than the Ford F-150 Raptor (with mirrors) and 6.7 inches narrower (without mirrors)
My Braptor is wide and navigating trails in the Northeast can be challenging due to the wide track. I am glad to hear the Scout will be more narrow and comparable to a standard Bronco - woo hoo!

(BTW - if it were the width of a Raptor, it would need the required DOT lighting which has been absent from all pics to date)

More dimension data: According to a Scout Motors employee on the official forum, the length spec for the Scout includes the rear mounted spare, as does the length spec Ford lists for the Bronco.

79.9" makes a lot of sense. Hitting 80" requires clearance lights. A thread on another Scout forum brought it up - where are the clearance lights (if it was actually over 80"). Before the current super wide trucks (Raptor, Tremor, TRX, Hummer) - only trucks with dual rear tires hit the width.
