Coming from a salt-on-road wintery area, I like the aluminum body components on my ford preventing rust and reducing weight - thoughts?

I'm in favor. Would likely have some - even if minimal - range benefit. I think they claim aluminum on a F-150 saves like 600 pounds.

Im in favor for it. My Mini countryman uses aluminum for its doors. And its frame is made from aluminum and it has a complete undercoating on it. Doesn’t have one spec of rust.

absolutely. I have a lot of Aluminum parts on my fords and they so far have been a lot stronger than its Chevy and Ram counterparts.

100%, my bronco has tons of knicks and chips but no rust. If it was steel I’d already have rust spots starting only after two years.
