Certainly the dealer allocations played a big part. Many Ford dealers didn't know what their allocations were going to be and oversold their allocations badly which is why some people didn't get their reservation/order until '23.most likely was. The whole dealer allocation thing was a mess. Hopefully taking dealers out of the mix will mean it will be a smoother process now. The reality is dealerships are not needed anymore
Yes, and I reserved my Bronco the first day reservations went out, but I got mine Feb 2022. But that was because of restraints at the factory like hardtops, trailer hitches, etc. I didn't cave in like my buddies did and swap out their hardtop for a soft top. I waited it out, lolThe lesson from that experience should’ve been that there’s a giant difference between “early reservations” on the first day and “early reservations” thereafter.
