I saw something about if your an official forum member and had a reservation that Scout would give priority over normal reservations. Today being the last day to have both a reservation and forum account.
Yes, if you joined the forum before 10/24 and make a reservation before the end of October, but I would think the order of priority within that group follows reservation time stamps. If all things are equal, e.g., commodities and regional considerations, the only/easiest way to sequence the reservations would be time of reservation.

Oh dang before that date! I assumed it was just if you had both before the 30th.

How in the world could they cross reference your reservation with a forum account?
🤔 😲

They can't.

And based on logistics, they aren't going to make vehicles based on reservations. They will do runs based on trim levels, options and colors, not to mention vehicle type.

Being first in line doesn't mean you get yours first. It just doesn't work that way.

A random number generator helps keep people from getting all bent out of shape when they realize that day 34 reservation holders may get their vehicle before day 1 holders.

They will cross reference based on the email address registered with their community forum and the reservation. It has to be the same email from my understanding.

Lord only knows us Bronco owners who had early reservations can tell you all about this.
The lesson from that experience should’ve been that there’s a giant difference between “early reservations” on the first day and “early reservations” thereafter.

Ford's F150 Lightning EV rollout was a disastrous cluster.....

Those that got in early reservations did not get theirs when Ford started shipping.

Some were pushed back to the next year model.

OTOH, I was late to that party and reserved a month later but was one of the first to get an June 2022 shipping.

3 weeks on rail and arrived at my dealer which I had to cross 2 counties because all the other greedy Ford dealers closer to me all wanted ADM.

Wonder if Scout will mess this up too ?

And yes, SM forum members who were registered prior to 10/24 got an email stating if they use the same email to place res, they'll be "prioritized". Email subject is "Fans come First" 👍. I also lived through the Bronco rollout debacle. So far, indications from SM lead me to believe they'll do a better job. Time will tell.

Who made an early reservation?

Forget decoding randomized numbers or tracking specs that will inevitably change (both by Scout and us), I’m curious who got the first/earliest Scout reservations.

I think reservations started at about 3:40 PM Pacific on 10/24/24.

Let’s see those confirmation email timestamps.
5:35 pm Central 10/24/24
