Retractable sun shade for glass roof

I’m guessing electrochromic, which is on the ID Buzz.

Will cabana roof have a cover option? I can't imagine long term durability with out some sort of protection from the elements. I have not been able to find further details on the roof options online.

No idea, probably a good idea.
I haven’t researched it as I’m 100% not going to get one. Mainly glad they will have retractable shade as an option, unlike some of their competitors

I love the idea of the cabana but want to be able to protect it AND like the option of roof rails for roof boxes etc.,

I want the cabana top even thought I feel like it has more potential for issues.. my shop fixed several BMW IXs that came off the delivery trucks with cracked roofs.. those color changing glass roof panels were like $12k just for the part. And their brand new $120k vehicle had to be gutted before anyone even drove it.
