Its been speculated that Scout will be using batteries built by VW’s Joint Venture Called PowerCo. The batteries would be made in St. Thomas, Canada at PowerCo’s new facility in 2027(same year Production is projected to start).
From what the website shows these batteries cells seem to be modular by their architecture of being blocks with a connector on each side. Which in the long run would seem to make battery replacements cheaper from less work need to build a pack.
