Dislikes about your current vehicle that’s offered / solved by the Scout Traveler / Terra?

So what are the things you don't like about your current rides that's offered or solved by the Scout? For me the Model X gives me great on road utility but no ability at all to off-road, camp, do anything in nature. It's basically a minivan in a much cooler form

Looking forward to having a properly lifted large SUV that has off-roading chops and can reach wherever (and for however long) I need it to. Gonna be along wait for the my Traveler Harvester.

I currently own a 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 SEL and it's a great little SUV but it was my fallback after the VW ID BUZZ got delayed again. I was so excited when I saw the concept vehicle for the ID BUZZ back in 2017 now I'm out on it 234 DAMN miles on a full charge on the low trim PRO S starting at $60K is way too high. Then the press release for SCOUT came out and I love the look of the TERRA. But absolutely love the fact that with SCOUT your price is locked in you won't have to deal with CRAZY dealership markups and since it's being made in South Carolina it qualifies for a tax credit.

I had a 2004 double cab Toyota Tacoma for 15 years and loved that truck and just have to wait until 2027 to get the great SCOUT TERRA truck.

The tons of maintenance that my old truck requires and the low fuel economy. Even with this fuel economy I do not have any power lol. My model Y fixes the fuel economy however it does not meet my towing requirements and it is not able to carry any heavy loads. Both are not able to go off road and go camping. The Scout Terra EV I reserved would fix all these issues and do it all in one vehicle.

We have a 2024 Kia Telluride EX AWD and a 2024 Kia EV6 Light long range. I traded in my 2021 Bronco (4dr Big Bend) on the Telluride - I was tired of the crude nature of it, noise, driving dynamics, ride quality, mileage, etc...basically anything other than the "cool" factor and off-road ability was a negative. We racked up over 28k miles on the Telluride in about 18 months and I have nothing negative to say about it. It's comfortable, mildly capable off-road, rides fantastic, and roomy. We are likely keeping that one until it dies. The EV6 was just leased a few months ago and is my primary commuter for work. (I consider the Telluride my wife's, and the EV6 mine - mostly). The EV6 will be the one to go when the Scout comes along, although I may need to purchase it at the end of the two-year lease and drive it for a while until the Scout is here. I don't have many complaints about that vehicle either - it's a blast to drive, and the operating costs are insanely inexpensive.

What's I'm most excited about the Scout is to have a "fun" SUV like the Bronco, with the efficiency of my EV6. And with that bench seat, even taking five passengers along in a pinch.

I'm a bit worried that due to the recent elections - the price just went up by $7,500 though since this administration is likely to kill the tax credits. If it ends up more realistically being a $70k+ vehicle, I'm probably out.

Pure electric range have plug in hybrid Volvo xc90 2023 air suspension ultimate version so has all the nice luxuries. But love the suv so far like te scout range extender technology and the off road and fowl weather driving capability if we move to Delaware

I like my current ride but it's going on 11 years old now. I'm hoping to eke out another 4 years until the Scout is either ready or something better comes along. I like the Scout because of the looks, physical controls, interior amenities such as the pull-out shelf and real compass.

I own an 05 LR3 and it's my daily. I'm just ready to have something with a big ass screen for a nav system and offroad assistance. My biggest hope is for adaptive cruise control and lane assist in the traveler.

Well if the tax credits are taken away with the new administration the price will most likely be around $60K not $70K because the tax credits were going to take the TRAVELER and TERRA down closer to $50-$52K. And what I absolutely love with SCOUT is that there are going to directly deal with the consumers not with dealerships. So thankfully no DAMN price MARKUPS or hidden fees.

I love my Rivian R1S Gen 1. I love being able to go 300 miles in a 7-seat SUV for about $9. I love that instead of a smelly engine to maintain, I have a huge storage compartment up front. I love that instead of having to drive to a gas station, I "refuel" in my own driveway while I'm sleeping.

But here are some dislikes, and I hope Scout will solve them:
1. Lack of tactile controls - It's incomprehensible that I should have to play a touch-screen video game while driving to adjust where a vent is pointing.
2. Lack of front bench seat option - I want a 6-person vehicle. I want a pickup truck. I want these to be the same vehicle, but not my dad's Silverado extended cab.
3. Lack of phone integration - Rivian has no CarPlay or Android Auto. Probably never will. It's a small thing, usually, but sometimes it's a big thing. The maps by MapBox are phenomenal but the traffic and routing software is garbage, so I have to use my phone for route planning. So now I'm peering into my 7" phone display for routing while my gigantic 16" infotainment screen shows a cartoon of a windmill.
4. Lack of style history - Rivian is new. Its "Little Orphan Annie" headlights are iconic. But I would love to drive something that has a touch of classic in it. Can't say why - there's no accounting for taste.
5. Lack of EREV option - Probably this is a temporary issue, and by the time I'm ready to take delivery, there will be better batteries and more charging infrastructure, but if I'm going to pull a big ole camper trailer up some big ole hills, I like the idea of boosting the range with a couple of jerry cans of liquid fuel. I guess that means I'll have to check the oil in this thing, which I have totally lost the habit of doing!

hybrid. LOVE my CT. Will keep it. But fuel and go stuff combined with all the joy of EV. I am looking forward to a bigger than my jeep road trip suv for my wife and dogs.

Best commuter and distance vehicle with very few issues.

Hoping it keeps it up while I wait for the Scout.

Please have a next get battery pack - no more NMC....

Standard range battery - gets best range (3.75 miles/kWh) in the fall and winter months when I don't have to turn on the A/C all the time....

2 dr Bronco with hardtop. Wind noise on the highway is tedious at best. Not looking forward to replacing 2 turbos when they die as turbos have a tendency to do.
