Digital rearview mirror (useful on Traveler with spare tire carrier)

I love the digital rearview mirror in my current vehicle. This would be especially useful on the Traveler in combination with the spare tire carrier mounted on the back.

Absolutely agree. We have a Bronco and when the soft top is folded back, you can’t see a thing out the back of the vehicle.

I have a C8 convertible with the digital rear view mirror and it makes such a difference when you switch between the mirror and the digital view!

i absolutely hope they add this. spare tire carrier, passengers, stuff can all block or obscure the view to the rear.

First time I saw one was the other day in my boss' vehicle. I loved it! He has a Lexus SUV which has the cargo area outfitted for a space for his dog so the back window is always blocked. He said it's one of the main reasons he chose that vehicle.

I'd rather just have access to the rear camera on the large screen while traveling than a digital mirror. Just a software function that doesn't bump the cost of hardware and I'd get to keep the standard rear view mirror that I actually prefer, odd as that may be.

The digital rearview mirror in GMCs has a tab that can switch it from digital to a standard mirror. I actually use digital on the daily but flip the tab to regular mirror when my daughter is in the backseat. It’s the best of both worlds.

On the Terra, the camera would need to be mounted on the tailgate. I’ve seen trucks where its mounted on the back of the cab and you only see what in the bed if it’s something large.

I must be an oddball then. I had the digital mirror in my Denali and hated it. Your eyes focused out the front windshield have to change to near sighted when glancing to the digital mirror. I find this incredibly annoying.
