They are putting Apple CarPlay in. I was messaging with Jamie from Scout last night. Android Auto will also be on it. He said last night probably another year before they make the announcement.

Most likely a cost cutting thing. Since having a smaller window means less motor that is needed so less money. And that small piece of glass is probably less than producing a larger window means and getting a torquier window motor.

They could “pickle” the frame which is what i believe your saying but fluid film.

From what it looks like to me who has seen undercoatings, it seems they have a black spray-paint of some-sort on most parts. But what we really what to see is more of a RhinoX material lining it since it alot more durable.

Do we know if the Scouts will have a undercoating to protect from rust? Or will it be completely shielded plus an undercoating on the frame? I know from working on BMWs that its a very protective way of preventing rust is to have a plastic shielding and the frame having a spray coating give...

I will probably keep these in it but most likely will get rubber ones hopefully that Scout will make.

Last time they voted to reduce it, many democrats voted with the GOP to reduce the credit. So obviously its not only the GOP who want to get rid of the tax credit.
