Heres from Jamie at Scout for those who i promised i would return with an update from Jamie with more details on specs and trims.
“It was concept vehicle spec not based on anything specific. We are still working through all of our trim and option matrix.”- Jamie from Scout Motors
It wont be hard to sell them. Right now since the federal tax credit gives the manufacturers a $7,500 price to add on to the MSRP. Its all a scam without the tax credit EV’s “will be way cheaper than ever before”.
@Administrator or anyone, can we see the orange with the white rallye stripes? Thats what im think i want mine to be but i have no time to hop on photoshop lol. Thank you.
Not really. A Countryman is a SUV for someone who is a outdoorsman. Unlike a ridgelines suspension would probably fail to hold one cinderblock. Meanwhile i had over 1,000lbs of concrete and lumber in my countryman no issues at all still performed to her fullest.
Unlike me im not afraid to put...
Without the tax credits it will force the companies to lower prices. Since all the tax credit does is it allows the companies to raise their prices. Without it, it will force them to lower it.
I’m sure it will but non of it’s been said it will target Canada which will be were the battery is made for Scout since VW is opening a giga factory in Canada. It’s mainly affecting non North American cars. But from what I’ve read and have seen there is a bunch of work around in the order that...
for more clarification: that trim was a concept that will most likely never make it to production due to pricing. But when you build your Scout you will have those options to build with. So pretty much you can build it to match the concept but it won’t look entirely the same but it will be close...

We will find out pricing soon (12-18 months) and what each trim level gives; I was told by Jamie from Scout today.
They are also very dedicated to that 50k and 51k starting prices.

Update to this: Jamie has Spoken and said they havent been told about it yet and it seems to be a rumor that is spreading around. But will probably not happen at anypoint.
Low key agree with you CEOs get paid to sit on there as$es all day. Not sayinf that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Scott him self, ect. Did work their ways up to where they are but they shouldn’t be paid billions for no reason.
For that i believe being that ive worked on Hybrids, it all depends on battery and how much the engine outputs. Being that the scout will be using VW’s latest engine that will debut in 2026 that will probably be what Scout will use. I think the hybrid will get 500 and the ev will get 350 so...
