I’m wondering if Scout will offer free wall chargers and cover standard installation like Ford has been marketing. Would be awesome if they did.

To keep it competitive I'm sure they would. And since they are new i think they would want to be known for something like this. Compared to Tesla and Rivian where you have to contract your own electrician.

No guarantee Ford continues giving out free chargers and installations until 2027 though. But that might be even better reason for Scout to offer it -- to stand out above the other competitors.

I'm hoping that the Scout wall charger will be able to:

- automatically open charge port door on the Scout​
- can be installed outside​
- can be controlled with Scout app (schedule charging times, check charging status, precondition battery)​
- load-sharing (allowing multiple chargers to share the home's available power)​
