I'm interested too... I wonder about 1-off stampings for body parts...The fit and finish is impeccable. It's as if they came off a well oiled factory line? How did they accomplish this?
Cool!On YouTube, check out Munro Live.
They are an engineering firm specializing in lean manufacturing that does work for many automotive companies (especially EV).
They have a couple of prototyping factory tours that are awesome.
I think it was a generic comment about how it might have been accomplished...Could not find Munro having a scout. I watched their CT stuff and it was fantastic.
I think I watched these guys a long time ago when they reverse engineered the Mach-e. They were impressive. On YouTube, check out Munro Live.

I bought my last Jeep in Texas from a non-dealer that took delivery directly from Jeep and made the modifications I wanted. California cannot control interstate commerce, but will just make it a little more inconvenient And expensive. I can see a lot of Californians making trips to Arizona, Nevada and Oregon.Jalopnik (May 2023) reported that Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid direct-to-consumer car sales cost dealers $910 million in profits, which is $910 million more in those customers' pockets. The dealership model is finally being challenged, and I am happy.
Of course, the California dealers are declaring war on Scout Motors' proposed direct sales model, but if I have to consummate my purchase at a dealer, I will walk away.
Hand built Alpha's, suppliers haven't been kicked off, tooling hasn't been purchased, nothing you've seen is production. The fit and finish is impeccable. It's as if they came off a well oiled factory line? How did they accomplish this?
By hand, 3D printed, hand fabricated, etc etc. Probably took them 6 months to get them ready for the little song and dance they did, and they didn't exactly turn people lose with them.I know that, was just wondering how they were built and maybe who built them. They're just gorgeous.
Just incredible. I have enough trouble with scale models let alone a full size, driveable vehicle.By hand, 3D printed, hand fabricated, etc etc. Probably took them 6 months to get them ready for the little song and dance they did, and they didn't exactly turn people lose with them.
