Just check since it would be like if someone was moving from the USA to Canada.I’ve never tried to bring a vehicle across but if you think it’s possible, I’m certainly willing to look into it!

That is ironic. Do you know if Tesla/Rivian ever got close to being allowed to sell directly in the state? Or is the automotive dealer lobby / allegiance too strong?Glad this is an option for SC residents. Given the irony that it's built here but no resident can buy one in the state. At least this saves me a second trip out-of-state for pick up.
This is one of the laws I believe States will be pressured to change once Musk gets into power. I think the old days of dealership-only models is running out. I'm happy about that and I hope manufacturers start pivoting now to get ready. That is ironic. Do you know if Tesla/Rivian ever got close to being allowed to sell directly in the state? I asked you this question on another thread before seeing this, the Canadian border Officers are tough!, and some are mean, had more than a few occasions to cross and some were not fun at all.Might be a nightmare for us Canadians trying to import it. I can easily see spending a day at the border trying to get it imported with all the certifications, taxes and duties. Too bad though, I’d definitely be up for factory pickup.
I would love to flat tow, but think the weight would be prohibitive for my rig.If flat towing becomes a real feature, I'd absolutely head to SC to pick one up. It would be a fun cross country trip!
You dropped thisI am in Columbia, SC…..literally 20 minutes away. If you or ANYONE are within an hour, I can help with picking you up if I don’t have an obligation that day.
Please EVERYONE, don’t think it’s too big of an “ask”, I’m happy to help!
