Not a great idea for a new company. 2dr Wrangler's and Bronco's make up 10% or less of total volume. A lot of money to spend up for a product you charge less for which just complicates your line.
And do you think owners need all those axles just to go to the mall? Think of some of the money they could have saved. A 2-door at least links back to their heritage. IMHO the 4-door look is kind of boring. As I said it should be made in small numbers and could be built on the 4-door platform, maybe made each door kind of long.
2 door would be my personal preference. Currently have a 2 door Bronco. Have no interest in the 4 door variant. However the Scout as introduced isn’t bad.
Prefer a 2 door with a 6 1/2' or 8' bed. I don't haul people, I haul stuff. Lumber to my workshop, trash to the dump, cardboard to recycle, tools to a jobsite. I want to replace a Ford F-150 XL 2 door with an electric 4wd truck.
