What do you consider expensive? The Ioniq 5 is about $650.00 US a year for full coverage.
Totally depends on where you live, and the accident rate, repair costs, or theft rate in your area, I pay almost twice that every 6 months for full coverage on two vehicles, with the RV being a separate policy.

The renderings appear to reflect a vegetative roof, is that so? What are the other sustainable methods of design will the new facilities explore?

If we’re all honest Here there’s still a-lot we don't know lol.

The seats are Cactus Leather and fine woven Fabric, I'm guessing the headliner is the same.

And the cabana top is canvas.

I guess I meant to state the renderings of the Manufacuring plant, not the vehicle.

The roof might be a Vegetative roof, and i believe one of the reservoir on the property will be a water treatment system for the facility and possibly surrounding areas, and there will be a few ponds.

If I'm remembering correctly from what the plans showed when a friend of my parents was gonna do the work, the Scout word logo on the top will be vegetation.

I really hope Scout is smart enough to tone down their identity politics. I vegetative roof... Why? If it is because it saves energy fine - honestly I considered one because of that. Is it to hide the environmental impact of a mega factory to locals (I am sure plenty of liberals hate that enough to not buy your product) - if it works, I guess that is ok. Is it to wave some woke flag - why go out of your way to offend roughly 1/2 of your potential customer base. Sure, liberals have traditionally purchased more EV's - but that was largely due to "marketing". Conservatives did not want environmental mandates being forced on them, especially when the mandates themselves were questionable. Are EV's greener, given the chemistry used in the batteries, the mining, the fact that the majority of the electricity generated from them are from fossil fuels anyway? Other than due to a bad taste in their mouths from being force fed, many conservatives simply want an EV that just is a better vehicle, rather than one painted green. They may ignore it if the green due to performance, not due to paint.

I don't know if the liberal EV market is already saturated. But the conservative one is hardly tapped. Show thoughtful decisions rather than woke flag waving, and maybe the conservative EV market can become accessible and profitable. So far attempts have been poorly executed. But I wince every time a green choice is touted - wondering at what costs in dollars, durability, and performance were suffered to wave the flag.

I don't consider myself liberal, but at many times I am open minded. My county is conservative. Purchasing an existing EV right now might be social suicide (same as putting solar panels on my roof). Hell, I was threatened by the County Judge - "Is that an EV, we don't allow those here" - which was funny as it was a diesel VW, hated by liberals. But its performance to $$$ was unmatched when I purchased it. Now, EV prices have come down a lot - and in certain uses, and EV would be better. But I have a 500 mile range, 40+mpg, and great acceleration. How hated are EV's where I live - we don't have a public charger in the county, and now thinking about that, I wonder if it is intentional by the local gov or a simple marketing decisions. I question if we have a single EV registered in my county. That said, I know plenty of people with them, usually parents of friends who live elsewhere.

Please, make a great vehicle rather than a political one. Leave politics to activists. Let the conservatives that place utility first live without public shame and social isolation. Personally I think you will sell more vehicles that way.

Maybe they will please everyone and have a Conservative edition, Independent edition and Liberal edition that's the one with everything. Buy what you like.
