As funny as this is and as much as I love hating on the Fridgidaire, this really all comes down to tires, not many people put the right shoes on their truck. I had an ICE pickup with stock tires and it was laughably bad in the snow and off-road before I put some A/Ts on it. The manufacturers put the best mpg tire they can find on vehicles for the EPA estimates. 10x that importance when you’re talking about EVs.

My CT is a tank. Ridiculously sure footed, almost hard to get to slide. I did change the tires to some Toyo AT. It is truly an incredible rig. Just saying tires matter, driver matters, situation matters but since the CT is so visible and out there anything it does bad gets press.

My neighbors CT after a few modifications. The front bumper looks pretty low to the ground, but that might be the angle of the driveway.

it is. Honestly it can be raised up almost a foot by settings but I keep mine as low as possible so my wife can get in and out easy. His looks like it's on low. no reason for high unless you wanted it or planned on going off road.

Any real-world range numbers for MN winter driving for the CT?

no, nothing from MN but a good snow day here cold 17 or so and about 3" of snow I went 187 miles total and had 37 percent battery. 80% charge when I left home

I agree. This first thing people ask in overlanding/wheeling forums is which tires to install. Good ATs are critical for going off road or dealing with snow. I’m partial to Falken Wildpeaks but there are many options out there.

The reasons I hate the Cybertruck and refused delivery are:

1. The stupid 100% price increase (FS)
and
2. The design changes they made to make it "fit in a standard garage" by chopping off the front end making it look even more ridiculous.

The Cybertruck would have been fine with a Rivian sized bed length as the number of actual work truck use cases are small in comparison to the number of "Influencers" who bought them for clicks with a business right off.

The Scout is a nice compromise between these "designer trucks" and the real pickups and SUV's that make sense for most people. I only hope I live long enough and that my 2018 Tesla Model X lasts long enough to actually see a Scout in my driveway. :)
