Had a little '94 Mazda 121 with the canvas top and it worked perfectly during winter. I regret selling it as it was lots of fun.

looking forward to seeing where and how roof racks will be attaching to these things.
FWIW, a tow hitch-based system (e.g. Yakima EXO System) is a better solution as far as capacity, accessibility, and drag for max miles; obviously, unless you are also towing or want a roof-top tent. ;-)

New photos of the Cabana Top on Traveler.

And that's a Scout binocular being used by the kid.

Here's a close look at the Scout Motors branded binoculars.

Wondering what the road noise would like with the cabana top compared to glass or steel roof. I like as little road noise as possible so this may dissuade me from getting a cabana top.

On my soft top Bronco, the vast majority of wind and road noise comes from the rear soft windows rather than the roof.

I suspect the cabana top, while not as quiet as the steel or glass, will be plenty quiet. Most road noise comes from the sides (tires, passing vehicles) and undercarriage.

I had the sky one top on a JL which is probably the nearest things to the cabana top and it was comparable to the JL Hard top cabin noise volume.

^^^^This. I think the cabana top will be plenty quiet. That is not something I am worried about.
